Mediterranean Melt Dressing


Serves 4

Earthy sesame paste combined with zesty lemon and sweet honey – classic Mediterranean flavours in this lovely healthy salad dressing.

Per serve: 227.3kj (54cal); 4.8g total fat (0.7g saturated fat); 0.06g fibre


You’ll need

1 tsp tahini
2 tsp lemon juice – about juice from half a lemon
1 tsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1/2 clove garlic, minced
2-3 tbsp water
Salt and pepper to taste

Let’s go

Put in a jar and shake, shake, shake.

Why it’s good for you
Tahini is a fantastic addition to any dish but it is high in fat (albeit unsaturated which is good fat) and big in flavour and so I have used it sparingly to get that gorgeous sesame flavour without overpowering the salad.
