Chocolate and Blueberry Smoothie


Makes 2 large or 4 regular smoothies

Chocolate and blueberries blended into a creamy smoothie, topped with shaved chocolate. An indulgence for any time of the day.

Per serve for 1 large smoothie: 1219.3kj (290.3cal); 6.3g total fat (3.7g saturated fat)


You’ll need

2 cups low fat milk
1/3 cup good quality cocoa
1/3 cup caster sugar
1 cup frozen blueberries
2 tsp shaved or grated chocolate (buy dark chocolate in a block and use a microplane or the fine side of a grater to grate)

Let’s go

Place all ingredients except shaved chocolate in blender and blend until smooth. Top off with a little shaved chocolate.

Why it’s good for you
Indulgent smoothies can be high in calories with cream, full fat milk, ice cream….. My smoothies cut out a lot of the fat and calories without affecting the indulgent flavour.
