Light Blue Cheese Dressing


Serves 8

Creamy blue cheese dressing with a hint of lemon and tabasco. Use it on anything you like when you need a creamy hit.

You’ll need

1/2 cup of lite sour cream
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp chopped chives
Dash of tabasco sauce
30gms of your favourite blue cheese
Salt & pepper to taste

Let’s go

Put all ingredients except chives in a processor/blender and whiz until smooth. Add chives before serving.

Creamy dressings are usually made with infinite amounts of cream and oil. This low fat blue cheese dressing uses lite options with just enough blue cheese for big flavour without overwhelming any dish. Great in salads, pasta, on potatoes, dipping sauce for crudite.
